Your lead illustration, a familiar one, for some reason prompted me to think of the sacrifice of young children's hearing during a far-too-loud contemporary church "worship" service. I can easily think of scenarios of ongoing actual sacrifices of children's lives, but I'd rather not at the moment.
I am familiar with much of the information here. I was a contributor to Daleiden's defense fund at one time, and as a long-time California resident I'm aware of Kamala's political track record. It's not that I find these fascinating subjects to read about. I think it's about having survived a near-disastrous birth myself, apparently caused by pharmaceutical poisoning (known as sorcery to some of us), and how I have survived since then. I am glad that lived, in spite of the damage I live with, that I had to hide from employers throughout my career. I'm semi-retired and self-employed now.
Still, I cringe when I read about "miracle babies" whose lives at birth or soon after are saved by means of extraordinary medical interventions. My own birth was not particularly dramatic beyond the risk of both of us dying. The dramatic ones are the ones publicized. I wonder sometimes how these people fare in the long term, if they even have a long term. I don't recall ever seeing follow-up stories, for some reason.
My mother determined never to risk going through that again, and I am an only child (one without children because what happened to me precluded that). She also apparently determined never to talk about it—what I know came from my father. She died from cancer at 54, when I was 26. If she was given the drugs I suspect she was given, it's not surprising. I also had cancer in my 50s, but survived that too. Also not surprising. My father died at 58, when I was 32. I'm 74, approaching 75 but deteriorating. I didn't expect to live this long. It's a long time to go without your parents.
